Soft socks.
HI everyone. I'm about to try knitting socks again. My problem is the roughness of the socks. It's like wearing sandpaper. Is there a yarn that's soft when knitted? Or is this how my knitting method turns yarn into rocks?

Ana in her Norah Gaughan Cardi
I know I have posted this before, but I had made it for my sister in law for her birthday. I just sent it to her and here she is modeling it. I think she is so pretty. She even went out and bought a top to compliment the lavender color in the sweater.

Again, it's the Arbor Cardi by Norah Gaughan and the yarn is Rambouillet sheep.

Lace Carriage is Transferring Extra Stitches
Hi all, been lurking for a while but this is my first post. I am new to machine knitting and just bought a Singer Sk360. It knits beautifully now that I have worked out most of the kinks. I replaced a few needles and the sponge bar and cleaned up the brushes. I am now trying to figure out the lace carriage. First, one of the drums was stuck so I took it in to get it looked at rather than take it apart myself. It came back with the drum spinning fine but there was a small squiggly looking metal part in the box and now when I try to knit with it, it transfers stitches that don't correspond with the punchcard. I can actually see where transfer happened so I know it's not a dropped stitch. Does anyone know why a lace carriage would do that? At the moment I am hoping that the loose part is from some other machine and ended up in my box by accident.

My great find at Michael's
Last weekend I made $55 selling 3 baby sweaters. This is what I bought at Michael's for that. Mill ends. Made in Turkey. Soft and squishy. I'm in heaven. Awesome trade off.
