Trying to work up the courage
I have a °1 circular needle, bamboo, that has fairly long tips, 5 1/2 inches. I would prefer 3 1/2. I have one of those as well but it is in use for a long term project (knee length dress). I have sharpened tips before, turning rounded tips to sharp points but I haven't even shortened them. I can't easily replace them so I don't want to mess them up. I know that all I need to do is clip them and sharpen the point but I just can't make myself do it.

Kindness is Everything (knitted shawl) for a lady from my church.
Some women from my church want to have hand knitted shawls, so I ask them for the favorite colors and the size of shawl; also if they are allergic to wool or acrylic . The Tooth "Fairy"
Launch day of Knits & Knacks by Sharon, formerly known as Knit by Sharon. I have branched out from knitted items and today I would like to show you our hand made "tooth". The tooth measures 6 inches by 5 1/2 inches. The top and bottom are held together with a hinge and a locking clasp. Inside are 20 holes to hold the 20 teeth a baby has. We have teeth colours in white, pink and blue and have a variety of coloured fairies depending on what you would like. We can also customize your "tooth" with an initial instead of a fairy. These are not imported but made right here in our shop. We have a limited number of these already made so get your request in early. We are selling these for $25.00 per tooth. This item is exclusive to Knits & Knacks by Sharon

A woman's revenge

'Cash, check or charge?' I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase.

As she fumbled for her wallet, I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse.
'So, do you always carry your TV remote?' I asked.

No,' she replied, 'but my husband refused to come shopping with me, and I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him legally.'
