I have made my son Dean and his partner Chizzy an afghan for Christmas. I chose Quaker Rib as I thought it would knit up nice with the varigated yarn I had. I took a picture of it the afghan is folded in half and I added a tassel at each corner to finish it off. I knitted three panels in all and it has made a nice long afghan perfect for use on a sofa.
Panel 1 and 3 look like this

paula953 Thanks so much for posting the pix of your pretty afghan.
I've got alot of varigated yarn I didn't know what to do with til now! I've never seen "Quaker Rib" and this is X-cellent, looks like the pattern was just made for varigated yarns!
