That is great. I am not fond of knitting icords. While I can do it, I find them "fiddley" and usually when I am done I find one stitch somewhere that has an odd tension so it looks sloppy. I think i can do this and produce a neater cord. And it looks easier and faster.
aahh -- I see I'm not the only one with I-cord problems! You are all very welcome, and it's a small payback for everything I've learned here.... including why 132 instead of 134 sts which we won't talk about.
My knit I-cords never come together to look good. This will now be the way I do them as you really can't tell the difference between the knit and crochet. If someone is that picky they can try to do a neater cord ... LOL

Steph - I'm calling the workshop chairwoman of our Sacramento Guild. This technique is going before the entire guild at our January meeting ......... December is a Holiday Party which even I would not upset with an I-cord!!!
