I am working on the Lion Brand Diamond Knit Shawl www.lionbrand.com&minPrice=0&noBoolean=1&searchText=Diamond+Knit+shawl&Go.x=7&Go.y=5&sT=1" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> HERE. I have stitch markers, a row counter, and lifelines. I was having a hard time keeping the number of stitches straight, but I was determined not to give up! I have completed the first 20 rows and one pattern of rows 11-20, and I've finally gotten into the rhythm of the pattern. Yay!

I just finished this shawl. I had to start it 3 times but finallu got the pattern down. It worked up really fast but I didn't use Homespun but a fuzzy worsted weight. It looked like the back was going to be freakishly long compared to the width but after finishing it stretched out fine. I did put a 5 row seed stitch border at the top to keep it from stretching too much. I think it's very pretty. good luck with yours!

Thanks for the tip. I am using Lion Homespun which I know stretches a lot. The pattern says to crochet a border but I don't know how to crochet so I am going to ask some of the ladies who I volunteer with who do crochet to help me once I'm finished.
I am tinking a lot; I'll get to the end of a row and won't have the right number of stitches. Sometimes it drives me nuts. But I'm determined to finish it!
