Hi fellow knitters. I have been given four skeins of koigu KPPPM yarn, and started a capsleeved sweater for me! This pattern has a ruffle right down the front and around the neck, and I think that I will run out of this yarn when I come to the ruffle... I can't get koigu locally, and may have to order it... just wondering if any of you would know off the top of your head if I can get this yarn in your area? I appreciate any advice!! Thanks so much! I love this site!!!
Linda
Patternworks (catalogue) has Koigu. There is an LYS in my area also that sells it.
Thank you so much, Pocahontas. Will try Patternworks. I will also see if our LYS will order it for me, but they don't carry it, so not sure... will let you know how this goes!!! Happy knitting!

Koigu is a Canadian yarn. I'm shaking my head that you can't get it there <G>.
We can get it in Canada....just not in Newfoundland! :)
Linda
Ah, yes, just like New England driving directions, you can't get there from here <G>.
Wild Fibers in Santa Monica, California has a huge selection of Koigu. I'm sure they would ship if they have it. Good luck!
i have worked with koigu yarn. it is truly beautiful! be aware that different dye lots of the same color will vary drastically. one batch i had to order (also ran short), looked to be a completely different color.
good luck!
Thanks to everybody for their help! I don't mind if the color is off a bit for the ruffle....I doubt very much if I will get the same dye lot! Wish me luck!
Linda
They are in Canada, so you should be able to find the yarn somewhere. Here is the contact information for Koigu:
