Hate to have to repost the request but-

I am looking for the felted cat bed pattern that has a partial hood over part . I originally found the pattern but it was purchase only and then lost the info.

Have searched and searched the web and cannot find it again.

It was a pattern sold by a knitting shop and I just cannot remember enough to get back to it. the pattern was 5.00

Help!

Hi - Just Google felted cat cave. Etsy has a wet felting pattern and tutorial for $18.50 and Craftsy has a pattern for $6.00. Hope this helps!

Maybe you could use this freebie pattern for a cat bed and just make it deeper then felt it...

http://media.wendyknits.net/knit/kittybed.htm

It came from an earlier KP post I found when googling for felted cat caves. Here is the link:

http://allnaturalpetcare.com/blog/2011/11/05/free-pet-knit-crochet-and-sewing-patterns-for-pet-animal-shelter/

Good luck - if you make one, maybe you could post it.

Thank you all for your replies but none of these are the one I am looking for. the $18.50 is a felted object but not knitted first.

I have made the Kitty Pi from wendyknits for my own cat but again it does not have a hooded part.

I just may have to try to figure this one out by myself!

You didn't mention whether you also crochet, but here is a pattern that may give you some ideas (scroll down for the English version): http://www.eilentein.com/2012/05/pesa.html

I made this one and it was a disaster!! It turned out way to small both in size and opening as well as I could not get it to stand up the way it was in the picture it kept collapsing in on its self.

The cat refused to have anything to do with it including just lying on the flattened product!

But thanks for the effort.

Sorry to hear that, but it's good to know. I was thinking about trying to learn enough crochet to make it, but now I won't bother.

while looking at wet felting websites I found these on Cat Cave. http://lisasfeltedart.blogspot.com/2013/03/cat-cave.html OR http://www.allfiberarts.com/2013/felted-cat-bed.htm OR https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlIIU_ojRuc. Although these do not require knitting or crocheting they may work up faster.
