kntting machine: the afghaner knitsmart system
I hope you don't have to pay the postage to send it back. I wonder if it is basically the same as a Bond/Ultimate Sweater Machine, but I can't find any information about it either.
It is very small, and you not be able to make a very big garment on it unless it was done in pieces and seamed together. Only 57 needles from what I can tell, and that might not even make a child's sweater.
What company made this? It would be easier to research on the 'net for the owner's manual if I knew that.
its made by knitsmart, but i am sending it back i cannot find the manual. the name is the picture i sent on the box
I sent this back, and am getting a full refund. but i may look into the addi circular machine! anyone familiar with that kind?
what are you wanting to do with a knitting machine? Maybe knowing that would influence our answers.
I wanted to use up all my cotton yarn to make wash cloths. after that maybe hats or who knows what else. my hands are hurting me and i thought i would give this a try without spending lots of money.
then get a used bulky machine. That way you can do a lot of things and it will last a long time.
Or an Ultimate Sweater Machine, you can do a lot of things with them.
I had seen that before which was the reason why I did buy it as another KP er showed me the eBay ad. But there were no instructions that came with it therefore I have now mailed it back to the person from eBay. Thank you😊

Have you tried to google 'manual for the knitsmart system'
I had lost the manual on my New Home sewing machine and found a pdf for it for $10 that I was able to download immediately.
You can try http://www.manualsonline.com
That's how I got a manual for the bread maker I bought at Goodwill a few years ago. I had contacted the bread maker company and the customer service rep gave me this information.
Try putting the info in a google search and you will probably find one.
