This has been knitted for a friend who is having her first Grandchild - and is a non knitter.
The blanket is knitted with DK yarn - pure Wool - from our local Bendigo Knitting Mills near Melbourne. One can order this yarn online. I used 4mm circular needles.
It is a lovely easy pattern and is available free. I thank the KPer who first posted this pattern. I shall be knitting many more.

Love the blanket. I haven't seen that pattern before.
I have just received an order from Bendigo mills, lots of 8 ply cotton.
It's lovely and soft and like your wool, is easy to work with.
Isn't it great that we can buy Australian made at an affordable price?
Makes a change from only seeing foreign made yarns.
I agree ohsusana. I love to purchase local Australian products, especially when it is consistently reliable. I have used Bendigo cotton and the easy care wool and am happy with both.
