On Monday June 10 I got an email from Caron yarn showing several patterns. I clicked on the Knit triangular shawl because it looked like something I may be able to do - when reading the pattern it made no sense. They gave the four rows of pattern stitces but never said when to use them! They only had you casting on 5 stitches and knittig for 55 inches. I clicked on the 'contact us' and asked about the pattern because I just didn't get it. Then Tuesday I got an email from their customer service saying that there must have been a problem when it was posted and she attached the corrected pattern. She also asked for my home address and they would send me some complementary yarn for my trouble. I didn't expect this but today I got a package in the mail with three skeins of Sheep(ish) yarn in the Pink(ish) color (VERY pretty I would add). Now to find something fun to use this on. I guess I have never had a company send me free yarn before just for asking a question about a pattern. I do LOVE working with the Caron Simply Soft yarn and will continue to use their yarn - especially since they have such great customer service!
Awsome and great to know about their good service. Lion Brand also has good customer service.
That's good to know. I too like the Simply Soft yarn. I just bought enough to make a sweater (as soon as I finish the one I am currently working on).
Thank you for sharing! Nice to know about companies with great service like this.
Excellent service indeed.
Wow! Great service!
Mmmm, maybe I need to ask them a question!
