The link miri56 sent is the one I used to do these socks 2 years ago. It was a challenge but what a sense of accomplishment when I finished. I found the instructions easy to follow but I definitely had to concentrate. I will mention that I was over 70 when I knitted them. If I could do it so can you. Go for it.

I've had this as a tenuous goal too. There was an article in Piecework Magazine a few years ago on this, and a pattern as well. I think I'll have to do two pairs in two different colours in order to keep the confusion to a minimum.
