magic circle knitting, not magic loop

I know that I found on this wonderful forum a link to a magic loop, mot the magic circle, in which one knitted with circular needles, but the cable made a loop inside the circular article and as one knitted, the cable followed the knitting around. I've search both this forum and the internet, and not found it again..find only the magic circle, which it is not. Help please. If you find this link, kindly post it to me. Thanks in advance.

There is another method of using circular needles for small openings - you mentioned two circulars and magic loop, but there is also "travelling loop" = http://sites.google.com/site/purplesagedesigns/techniques-1/single-loop-not-magic-loop-knitting-in-the-round

This is a step by step chart - there are also several videos out there which will help.

Hope this is what you're looking for - I'm going to try this method too on socks.
