Triangle Shawl
Use 4 ply worsted weight with a size H needle
Can adjust pattern with sport weight yarn and use a smaller hook but will need to add rows also.
CH 4 loosely,
Row 1: work 11 TR in the 4th ch from hook, Ch 4, turn
Row 2: 2 tr in first st, ch2 , skip one st, 3 tr in next st, ch2 , skip next 2 st, 3 tr in in next st, ch 2 3tr in same st(shell) ch 2 skip next 2 sts, 3 tr in next st, ch 2 skip next st, 3 tr in last st. ch 4, turn.
(2 sets of 3 trs and 1 shell in middle 2 sets of 3 trs at the end)
Row 3: 2 tr in first st, ch 2 , 3 tr in next space, ch 2, 3 tr in next space, ch 2 , make 1 shell in next space, ch 2, 3 tr in next space, ch 2, 3 tr in next space, ch 2 , 3 tr in last st, ch 4, turn
(3 sets of 3 trs and 1 shell in middle 3 sets of 3 trs at the end)
Repeat Row 3 having 2 more groups of 3 tr every row, 15 more times. Fasten off .
Border: I used a shell stitch in every space along the sides.
You can use any kind you want to use.
Thank you so much.
Pattern sounds familiar.
I am going to try this one.
Will let you know how it turns out.
Blessings
Did you ever find the shawl you were looking for. I made a shell shawl in the 70's and like you I lost the pattern.
