Why Would You Ever Want to Pay For Knitting and Crochet Patterns or Lessons When You Can Get All That for Free?
Read this:

If you are a beginner, intermediate, advanced, or a professional knitter, then the benefits of signing up for our free weekly knitting e-mail newsletter are:

• We cover hand knitting, machine knitting, and crochet.

• Each week you'll be receiving new tips and techniques.

• Daily, you'll be receiving a knitting message board digest with the latest knitting pictures, discussions and patterns.

• If you ever have a question or need help, you can always ask, and we'll cover your question in the following newsletter issue.

• Discover the fastest way to knit (and to crochet) a sock... while keeping the perfect heel and making sure the sock fits (not many knitters know this).

• Find out how to figure out how much yarn you need for a pattern if the pattern doesn't specify it (works for any project, a real life-saver sometimes).

• Learn how to pick up a dropped stitch, even from several rows below. It happens to absolutely everyone at some point. But don't worry, there exists a really simple fix.

• And if you ever run out of yarn, find out how to join any yarn in the middle of any project.

• If you can't find the pattern that you need, or if you don't know which pattern would be most appropriate for a specific project, then you can ask our other users to help you figure it out. We even have a dedicated "Pattern Requests" section on our website that's all about finding new patterns.

• The same goes for any problems and questions about specific techniques. We have experienced users who are always helping those in need with just the right advice.

• And of course, as I said it's all completely FREE!

• Let me repeat that. Since for some reason a lot of people contact us asking if the membership is really free: we are a social website for knitters and crocheters, so we don't sell anything, and we don't charge any fees. It's as simple as that.

Enter your name and e-mail address below, and you'll be instantly added to our knitting mailing list distribution. Right away, you'll get access to more knitting-related material (pictures, patterns, tips) than contained in all knitting books and magazines you could ever buy. And you'll get all that for free.

You'll be able to talk and share ideas with more knitters than you could meet if you attended all the largest trade shows. And you'll be able to do all that without leaving your house!

Don't delay! Join the best knitting and crochet community on the Internet.

Natural remedy for blocked arteries?

An article appeared in one of India’s newspapers.
There was someone who was told that his 3 arteries were blocked but after the angiogram, it was discovered that 2 arteries had opened up and the doctor was astonished.

He asked the person how that happened. The man replied, that he resorted to homeopathy herbal medicine and that was the result. The doctor told him to carry on with Indian medicines.

The same article was found by Murtaza Bandali who has a book-shop in Watford, London. It has helped many of our brothers as magic and shows the result in few days time.

1 cup garlic (ground)
1 cup ginger (ground)
1 cup lime juice, (not lemon), ''limboo or limau nipis''
1 cup apple cider vinegar

Mix it and boil at low heat, until 3 cups are left. Then take it out from the heat and wait until it gets cold. When it is cold, add 3 cups of honey, mix it thoroughly, and have one table spoonful, first thing in the morning daily, before breakfast. After a few minutes, enjoy your breakfast.

It really works wonders!!!

Keep the bottle in the fridge for daily use (1 tablespoonful).

Any clinical trials or research?

Interesting. I believe homeopathic medicine has credibility . I would like to know more about this one. The garlic would be the only thing that I am not sure I would care for. That's for sharing.

How would you go about grinding a cup of garlic and ginger. Would be worth a try I think. All natural ingredients ....nothing to hurt you.

You would grind them in a food processor or blender

Put all these ingredients in and blend them together
1 cup garlic (ground)
1 cup ginger (ground)
1 cup lime juice, (not lemon), ''limboo or limau nipis''
1 cup apple cider vinegar

Regards

Think I would maybe make a sachet of the garlic and ginger and boil it that way. I would also make a much smaller batch the first time to see if my taste palette would handle it.

I think the honey would make it drinkable, and it is only one spoonful . Years ago I can remember mixing honey and apple cider vinegar together and taking a spoonful, for what reason I do not remember.

I really wish people would do some research.

A bit more reliable site and info...

Read the warnings and disclaimers.

Like anything and everything else, do not self diagnose, nor self treat without your doctors approval.
Some natural herbs, supplements, and spices/juices may actually interfere with medications you are currently on.

Be safe everyone, and stay healthy.
At least quote from Web MD or some such site.
Or better yet from the AMA.

As per one of the pages I listed...
Quote:
Keep in mind that no widely accepted medical research supports the use of any herbal remedies for treating or preventing plaque blockages in arteries.

Had a quick look, seems this is Ayurvedic medicine, not homeopathic.
Would be lovely if it worked!

Saddest thing is, there are so many people who take medication, yet blithely continue to eat the same junk food,
We are what we eat, as they say

So true.
I cook with fresh garlic, fresh ginger and such.
I grind my own beef cuts into hamburg (hardly any fat), instead of buying that awful fatty store bought hamburg meat.
I don't use much table salt in a month (maybe 1-2 tsp).
I rely on the natural salts (and sugars) of the foods I eat - good food, not junk food.

That is not always true. Sometimes family genes play a role. My husband eats right.....low fat , no added salt, low sugar. He still has blocked arteries. He had the widow maker. Had stent. 3 years later after doing everything Dr. said he had another heart attack. Stent was 90 per cent blocked already. So you are not always what you eat.

I mixed honey and apple cider vinegar in hot water every morning for years. It keeps the body and all organs functioning properly. It also heals the skin and softens the skin. It is the only food product that will still be good sitting in your pantry 20 years. It never goes "bad". It will turn to sugar but if you put it into hot water (in its container of course)the honey will turn back to liquid. Just as aloe vera is the only thing that I use for burns. I also eat aloe vera (the inside part)when my stomach is upset.

Well no, not always true, but it certainly is for the majority of people

Surely none of these ingredients can do anyone any harm. They are not exactly medicine, they are everyday food. I realise some can't eat garlic, but it can do no harm, surely. Let's try it.
