Knitting Daily had an article on thrummed mittens last year and now here they are again under a different name.
Last year the article said you can use any mitten pattern. This year they credit Ruth Slagle with developing the pattern. Thrummed or stuffed mittens have been around for a couple of hundred years. I guess all you have to do is change the name and you get to claim credit for something that has been around for centuries. Who knew?
