I had one ball of Loops & Threads Charisma yarn (color: Sunny Day) and couldn't figure out what I could make with it. I used half a skein (100g/109 yards) to make this quick and easy ribbed hat. I did not make it in the round since I don't have 2 size 13 needles or DPNs, but it was an easy seam to sew up and I finished in under 3 hours (which is fast for me). Two-ply yarn was like knitting with two strands of yarn, but not difficult. Yarn is very soft.

Oops, forgot to list pattern source: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/erichs-af-knockoff-hat
I used size 13 needles because the yarn I used was slightly smaller than that recommended. Same cast on and cast off instructions made it just the right size for my 9-year-old.
