Erma was a favorite of mine. i read her columns and her books. She will be remembered by some of us for a long time.

My favorite Erma story was about a visit to a talk show. As she was always so positive, the host asked her what was it that really bugged her. She replied, "Skin care commercials! They always have some 19-yr-old advertising skin care products! She's 19! She could give herself a facial with pickle juice, and she would still look great!"
