Has anyone else tried out the newest Lion Brand yarn called "Keppi". Comes with a pom-pom. A little pricy but cute mixture of yarns and colors. One ball makes a hat from baby to small adult. I have made 2 so far using the smallest size and 1 using the largest size directions. Made the first as per the pattern directions, did not like the top gathering...too bulky. The second hat I did gradual decreasing for the last rows and that worked out better. I think that the largest size might fit a small adult head, but it would be a stretch...no pun intended! Colors are bright and girl's will like them. Let me know what you think, thanks. Happy Knitting.

I saw them the last time I was at Joann. I agree, very pretty, bright colors. Passed on the purchase. Do you have a picture of what you made?

I like the looks of the yarn. How much yarn did you have left when you finished the large hat? Would like to see pictures of your hats, if you can. Thanks for sharing the information about making the pattern fit better.

No yarn left at all...worked it right to the end. No model yet for pictures. Good pics on the yarn label tho. I did find several skeins at Joannes at half price though.

I've done two hats with this. My GD's loved them. I worked right to the end of the yarn, maybe a foot left.
The yarn was on sale for half off at Joann's and I had a 10% coupon.

Finished my first one last night. Bought yarn on sale with coupon as well. Cute for a one time hat. Not certain it will fit 8 month old granddaughter; she may have to grow into the smallest size.

I just bought this at Joann, half price, but haven't started it yet. Debating on size. Niece's little girl is 2 and last hat I made her I used 72 sts on a sz 7 needle. She is really tiny. The measurements they are giving on the label don't seem right, but I will do a few rows on sz 7 instead of 8 needles and see what it looks like. I, too, would like to see some finished projects. Not sure if I like the yarn or not, just thought it was cute. I think I bought it because I like the pompom. Ha.

I had to drop down one size for each hat. GD's are 4 and 7.

Thx. Did u use sz 8 needles? I just started but will frog & go down a size. Also Terry is at beginning of row & I am not sure I want that around her face.

Yes, I used the size 8s. I also cut off the fancy yarn at the beginning.
