Is there a free version of the Wonderful Wallaby sweater pattern or something similar that I can download?

Love the wallaby sweater but after searching and SEARCHING, couldn't find a free pattern. I'll keep looking . . .

OK thanks - I may just send someone to the knitting store for me. Recovering from surgery and cannot get out. Dont want to spend $4.50 to ship a $7.00 pattern.

This is quite similar:

You didn't mention if you want it for a child or an adult.

The Wallaby is simply a hooded sweatshirt-style top, so I would type in hooded sweatshirt knitting pattern or something like that, and you will find other free patterns.

Did you surf for it, Rinni or check up in search (above)? I think I've seen them.

I use google.

Good luck and nite-nite, Sweetie!

I do not believe so... it is a copywrited pattern and still on sale on several sites.

How funny, I'm working on the Wallaby for my grandbaby right now - I actually have the pattern in it's 9th Revision. I love the pattern, the homey way it was written is a bit difficult to follow - sometimes I just wing it.

But I "dye-grass" (ha ha ha?) anyway, to answer your question, try this pattern:

I have this pattern booklet and want to say it is worth the money. It tells you how to custom size the pattern and goes from infant to full adult.
