Yesterday evening I received some beautiful cards from Elfie. Theme of this month is: It's Winter but Spring is coming.
Elfie made some wonderful cards, considering she is having a lot of problems with her hand and is in pain a lot. I admire you for continuing making cards and I hope 2017 is going to be the year all issues with your hand will be completely healed.

The first card is lovely and when you open it it's surprisingly a three fold card. Lovely saying inside.
The second card is a lot heavier than the first card. Big surprise when you open this card, a folded middle part is springing out. But not only there are some great pictures, the actual inside is decorated to with embossing, snowflakes, flowers and a saying. When you look at this card there is no doubt winter is leaving and spring is in the air. Absolutely stunning card. I certainly would love the pattern and/or the "how to" for this card. I was not going to tell which card is my favorite but I might have given away which card is my favorite.

Elfie included a great bunch of embellishments; pictures for cards, lots and lots of cut outs and the pattern of the three fold card she made last months card swap.

Thank you for these great cards and all the embellishments.

Beautiful cards. We had our first snow last night - a nice snow, didn't cover my driveway. But I am looking forward to Spring and the birds on the cards were a reminder that we will be seeing Spring before we know it. Lovely embellishments and Amazing ways the cards open to reveal their messages. Just lovely.

Stunning is the perfect description for the last card. And wow for the embellishments. You did an outstanding job with your swap, Elfie..
I,too, would like to know how to make that last card. And I didn't know that Elfie is having hand problems. Sorry to hear that and hope things get better for her. Happy New Year to all of my Swap friends. I hope we all promote peace and love to all those around us and that we remember that we get back what we give. May our God richly bless our lives in 2017.

Here I am, Birdwatcher and I've been watching and feeding my birds outside and then I have the JOY of looking at these beautiful birds in Elfie's cards!! Very beautiful and professional looking cards!! I Love them both, but the 2nd one with the cabin and the two birds outside saying Brrrrr is just beautiful -- my favorite! And would you look at those embellishments -- I now know who is "Queen" of die cuts -- Elfie has them all!! LOL -- they are all wonderful and I'm sure Anneke will find great use for them!!

Beautiful swap -- My Cardinals and Blue Jays visit me for feed all day long!!

Super lovely cards, Elfie!!! You did a wonderful job! Hands down, my favorite is the cardinal card, and not even because of the pop up part in the center. I love the OUTSIDE of the card most! I love woodsy-rustic-nature-animals. Love feeding the birds/critters. The zillion! how awesome would that be to create lovely things!!! Anneke is going to have FUN!!!!! You did GREAT, Elfie!
