I love the picot edging and love the hat - thank you for the pattern. I've tried to crochet for years and have found that it can't be pretty to watch me, I feel like I'm holding a log rather than a hook and it never turns out well. That being said.........I know how to do a knitted picot cast on. Would that work? I'm not even sure of the number of stitches to start but maybe I could figure that out. (And I have downloaded your video for the edging and will try again - I want to crochet so much!!) Thank you again. Beadz

saved the pattern and have bulky yarn. I have just finished a blanket and want to do something quick and light.
