Just finished this long line cardigan. Knitted on a Brother 950i, but any standard gauge knitting machine will do. No ribber is required. I had 6 x 100g of Drifter King Cole Double knitting acrylic, and only just went into the 6th ball, so decided to knit a couple of pockets. Knitted on T10 + + , as high as the dial will go. I wanted the fronts to look the same, or near enough, so I pulled the wool out of the center of the ball to match the other ball of wool, so that both started at the same dye spot. Just about got it right. The buttons in the center of each pocket are one's that you cover youself, so kntted a piece of knitting 10 stitches by 16 rows.
Really pleased with the results, even though I'm a bit of a plain Jane with knitwear, I will be wearing this with my Jeans, or denim skirt.

Pockets are simple to do. Cast on waste yarn 120 sts, e=wrap these stitches in contrast yarn, knit 4 rows. Carriage on right, waste knit 15 sts on right. waste knit left side 15 sts . 90 stitches in work. Join main yarn for pocket, knit to left, pick up 1st stitch on waste yarn place on needle knit to right, do the same on right, knit until row counter shows 30, all stitches on waste yarn both ends in working position. Move stitches so that there is 2 stitches on every other needle (60sts) using double eyed needle, thread a separate piece of yarn through all 60 stitches, slightly press piece of knitting but not the rolled edge, draw up yarn that is threaded through stitches and tie off, Add a button for decoration mainly to cover center hole. Pin and sew to garment between the rolled edge and main pocket, on the right side.

Missed a bit out on pocket, after you have doubled up with the stitches, knit a row before threading yarn through stitches to pull up.
