Got a wonderful package from Dottie today, two great cards and lots of pretties also including a scissors holder. Wait till you see the cards - Beautiful

The first card is light blue with lace and a butterfly which are adorned with "diamonds" and a very nice message inside. Also the inside of the envelope is lovely too, with the flap embossed and a stamped butterfly in one corner.

The second card is just exquisite, so delicate and lots of butterflies on her dress. I photoed a close up so you could see all the "diamonds" on the butterflies. What a beautiful card and the envelope also has a wish and butterflies .

How beautiful, I used to make cards all the time but I do not have space where I live right now. Next house will have a larger craft room, last one was 16 ft x 15 ft.

Very have received a very nice package norgraf2179. These cards have incorporated many different techniques. The first card, like a butterfly, is very delicate, from the choice of colour, the dry embossing, the delicate lace, and the die cut butterflies. Altogether, this is a very lovely card. The black and white card is also very striking. Is the lady also a die cut, or did you cut her out with scissors Dottie? Whatever.....I love her dress! Butterflies, butterflies, and more butterflies....Chameleon would absolutely love that dress! You also received a very nice assortment of embellishments. The hand stitched cover for scissors, is a great addition to the package.

Such nice cards! I love how delicate the first one is! The colours and textures and the addition of lace works together so perfectly! And the second one is beautiful as well, what a unique way to make a dress!! I think that that one is my favorite because of how unique, and successful, it is as a card! Great job!

Beautiful cards. You received wonderful cards Norma!
The first card is very cute and I love the use of lace. Dottie, did you write that sentiment yourself? I wish my handwriting was good enough to do that. I also wonder is the butterfly stamped or is it a die cut?
The second card is something else! I love that black & white card, I think it is very elegant. Is that lady with dress a die?
Lovely embellishments, the lace and sparkly elements are great to work with as well as the other items. Great swap.

Wow -- what beautiful cards! Love the softness of the first card with the blue and then the touch of pearls on all ~!
the butterflies as well as the lace adds such elegance. The envelope matches so well also with the same embossed paper and a touch of glitter. The second card is VERY unique and so stunning. I've never seen a die cut like that -- YOU MUST share that with us. All the glitter on the butterfly dress is also so eye-catching. Like how she is adoring the tiny butterflies that are flying around her hand. And vertical sentiments are my faves -- they offer such a difference in the card set-up. Truly a remarkable card! Great swap also with the embellishments -- Norma is sure lucky to get these items!!

Hi to everyone and thanks for your lovely comments. The butterfly on the first card is a Martha Stewart punch that I've had for a long time. The butterfly lady is a printout from a pinterest card and I cut it out and cut out all the tiny butterflies.

Thank you, I was wondering if it was a cut out from a die or punch or perhaps a stamp.
The lady is cut out? What a great idea!

As for the scissors holder, someone made me a similar one many years ago and I use that holder all the time not only do I put scissors in it but I also put my needle threader in it and slide my needles in the top of it in between the yarn stitches.
