I used the Anne Alexander stitch pattern shared by Eileen Montgomery ( http://www.eileenmontgomery.com/Freebies/Patterns/tuckpunchcardafg.html
) called Tuck Punchcard Afghans. But I used my Brother 260 bulky, instead of the standard. Cast on L51-R50 (there is a typo in needle setup in the original standard directions for the smallest size). Light steaming was all that was required along the edges. I knit about 300 rows (forgot to reset when I had to frog a few rows)
Bernat Baby Sport, it used about 200g of the 300g ball. Final, washed size - about 26x42.
I cut the card with my electronic cutter (the KNK Zing) using Bonnie Bell's PCGenerator ( http://www.brendaabell.com/pcgenerator
I like tuck stitch blankets.
Lovely! What tension did you use for the bulky?
Love the blanket and colour. Could you tell me how to do the border? It looks like two punch cards were used. Thank you.
Very Nice! In the process of punch that card and plan to knit it in the next couple of days - yard work :( takes precedence 'make hay when the sun shines')
Lovely, hope to do one soon
Really cute blanket. Electronic cutter?? Is there another tool I haven't heard of? Sharron
