Summer Weight Top.
This was knitted using a Brother KH970 machine. The garment shape/style was inputted into the garment design feature of the machine. The Stitch pattern (also fed into the machine) is a Passap double bed slip stitch pattern. Only one strand of 2/30, of each of the two different colours of yarn, was used.
I have also created a topic showing the same stitch pattern used to knit a Cardigan/Jacket using two strands of yarn for each of the two colours.
Summer Weight Top.
Wow. That's gorgeous. The neck band is what I'm jealous of.
Yes I too love that neckband. But I really love that pattern. You did an awesome job with both colors and the knitting. It looks way too difficult for me, but of course I don't machine knit. My daughter in law has a new machine, one that has never been used. Congratulations on such a fantastic job. Wear it proudly.
It's fantastic, I like everything about it:) What's the Passap pattern number?
Well, you've certainly been busy, and another great slip stitch design. Great work!
Thanks for your kind comments Dialknit, Boots, Nina, Randie, Butterfly and Kate.
Kate I don't know the Passap pattern number, someone just sent me a picture of the card. I will see if I can find it for you. It is really nice to knit. The pattern is raised like cables which I don't think show up that well in a photo. As you know I wasn't that keen on the cardigan/jacket I have also done and put on here...simply because I thought I should have done that in yarns that blended instead of being contrast colors.....but with jeans, a plain white top, and plain white summer shoes/sandals it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. If I do that again I will see what it is like in three toning colors.
Thanks I'll love the card, really like not crossing stitches to get a "cable" look:) Do you happen to have the passap e6000 stitch pattern book? It's another source of stitch patterns for us to knit:)
Looks lovely - I must give slip stitch 'try'.
Looks great as a summer weight top, too. And nice colors. Definitely summer.
Beautiful! You're on a roll. I love the colors.
