When you knit and you have to take out a few stitches it is called TINK. What is it called in crochet if you only take out a couple of stitches? Anybody have a clue?

I'm with Chesneys...I call it ripping out. The cussing is optional, and usually saved for grabby yarns. I rarely take out just one stitch, though

R&C. That just about sums it up. Thanks, Chesney. When it's a lot of stitches and/or rows then I guess it's R&C and sailors for miles turn red.
