You can find the ravel cord on Ebay. You might find the manual you are looking for there to.

If you go to the 'knit it now' site you might find the manual there for free.

I often have to find manuals for work, if you type your machine name into your search engine, along with 'manual' you should be able to get the manual and download it. ood luck

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Knitting-Machine-Instructions-Models-327-amp-329-/140357366701#shpCntId but you might want to keep looking...this is pdf, so it means you can probably have it right away by downloading... there are more than one there so read a bit...

Use crochet cotton or dental floss as a substitute for ravel cord.

Not sure where you live, but in the U.S. Hobby Hobby carries Artiste nylon thread in funky colors for $3.49 for 300 yards. It can be used for ravel cord.

This might get you started, though the model number is slightly different.

If you live in the U.K. and have no luck try Bedford sewing and knitting they are on line and often carry stock from older machines it's worth a try if nothing on the website phone them. They are a large company and do all the big craft shows in England. I have managed to get stuff loads of times.

Down near the bottom of this page (choose to show all at the top), you can download a free manual for the 328. It's probably the closest one on this site to the 329. There are also free pattern and design manuals on the same page that would be applicable to you machine, and general techniques as well.
