Here is the Liz stole that i have just finished. I used 4 ply wool from Bendigo Woollen Mills and 3.25 mm needles. I used nealy 350 gms of yarn. I learnt the provisional cast on , a new skill required to do this stole.

Absolutely gorgeous. I love the delicate lace and you chose a beautiful colour. Wonderful knitting.

That is very beautiful..almost a work of art!
I must admit I've stayed away form large projects.

This much lace work seems beyond me, but I envy anyone who can do it. The end result justifies the time and effort. It is an heirloom
