I have a brother kh 970 and i love it. Unforturnately i broke a 'leg' in the fb. So now i can't use my DAK8.

So now i would like to know if anyone have a cb1 for sale. I doesn't matter if it doesn't work because i only need the Thing for the fb.

Hope you understand my rusty english 😬😬

Fb is the plug located on the side which is used to connect the DAK cable(connects the PC to the knitting machine).😊😊

The CB1 is not easily found - and quite expensive.
If the CB1 still works but the plug is broken, It can be repaired quite reasonably.
Not sure who to contact in Europe as we are in the US but I'm sure there are people that fix them in Europe.

I totally agree, i have contacted several stores with knittingmachines.
I Think it has to do with they want to sell a new one, they say the spare is impossibble to find and waste of money to use on such an old machine... i understand but I'm NOT ready to say godbye to my 970 yet 😍

This is Why I'm trying here. Maybe there is a broken one out there. I only need the plug in

have you tried talking to computer repair folks instead of (some of) the 'specialized' at gouging Knitting Machine folks?
Just a thought! Or even e-the folks at Needle-Tek nditek@e-z-net USA I am posting the e- because in my experience the really are about helping re knowledgeable kind and more than fair about pricing shipping ect. Good luck

Yes - in the USA Needletek is a good source
You can try contacting him as he is always more than helpful and will not try to sell you something you don't need
If it is only the plug (broken pin), He can help you or point you in the right direction.

Had heard rumors but have not actually seen anything about it. I would assume it would be a replacement for CB1 to allow it to interact with DAK but not a fully functional CB1 but that's only a guess.
