In the midst of all the negativity, I wanted to post something positive about an online yarn retailer. I ordered 17 balls of a yarn to make a tunic sweater from Little Knits last week. In preparing my shipment they noticed color variations in the yarn and that in their stock there was not enough of one dye lot to complete my order. I received an email informing me of such and was asked how I wanted to proceed with my order, if I still wanted the yarn or cancel the order. I was fortunate enough to find a color that I liked all in the same dye lot. My point is, I've read on this site many times of people receiving yarn from different dye lots and all the problems it created. This company took care of the issue before it became a problem.

I have been ordering from them also, love their sale prices and variety of yarns. Thanks for letting us know they check things like dye lots, so important. They must be quite busy, my last order was not sent for almost a week, but then it arrived in just a couple days after it was filled. Anyway, it's not like I was 'out' of yarn, and needed it yesterday.

I love Little Knits! They're very responsive. I've never had an issue with dye lots when I buy yarn from them. Their bags are always a great deal for price too. I can't look at the website now because I would be too tempted to buy yarn and right now I can't spend money.

It's a very small organization and not open everyday. I don't expect to order from them and start a project with the yarn this week. They can take awhile to fill an order but IMO it's well worth the wait.

I have always dealt with Sue (owner?) and have had similar customer care. I think it is a very small operation and she sometimes gets a little behind when she has a big sale going on, but never any major delays with my orders.

I have never ordered from them,
but did cal them when found a yarn online they had which someone on KP was looking for. They were so nice, and put it aside so I could message her to call them.
I messaged her, she called them and got the yarn she needed to finish her project.

They have some awesome prices, and sales all the time,
I can't say I don't look at the email's when I get them, but not buying yarn even though it is tempting
I'm having to de-stash.

I have ordered 3 times from them over the past few months. They are the ones that had the Berroco Vintage yarn in the Dewberry colorway that I needed for my Drift sweater that I am making for Katie’s Christmas present. I also ordered what I thought was a deep burgundy but when it arrived it was a deep purple. They accepted my return and let me reorder the right colorway. I didn’t have any problem returning the yarn and now I’m just waiting for them to send the right yarn to me. They Rock!!
