This is what I have been working on. Now, it is next to impossible to get the yarn.

I know what you mean. ACMoore where I am in NY gets a truck delivery every Thursday. I am there at 8am to see if they got any more. I did find some in the mill ends bags. All the same color but I can use it. Plus with the 50% off coupon it cost 3.00 that makes each one only .50 each. Score! You might want to ask your local yarn shop or departement when they get their next shippment in. I would be there when they open..

i love your ruffled scarves... I have made some recently but they are not as pretty as yours... I love the yarn you have used..

My friend was wearing something similar the other day and she said a friend from Spain gave it to her, she had made it herself.. It was very pretty

I think if you post the yarn brand and type on here, someone might have extra in a stash.

I think this is starbella yarn. I have used a lot of types. but I think the starbella has the best ruffle to it. INHO.

I was on this web site today 12-21-11 and thay said that they did have this yarn in stock.
The starbella brand has the color I think you want. I think it is Canyon Surprise, had blues, greens brown. Hope it is what you are looking for...
Although only packed in 3 balls per package at a cost of $20+. Still the cost works out to be about 6.75 prior to shipping costs. About the same I have paid for some of mine..

Here is a link to a site that sells similar yarn...

The name of what this site sells that is comparable to starbella is called Flamenco. They have a new one called "Salsa" that is absolutely beautiful for making these scarves and have a nice chenille edging on it. I order from them all of the time now. It is much easier online than running out to the store and find they are out of stock. I get my order in 2 days and all of their proceeds goes to a ministry to help women in poverty stricken countries.

If you do not want to purchase the required amount of 4 skeins, let me know. I am going to purchase more and am willing to share my order. Once it comes in I will forward your portion to you. We can do this through "Private Message" and Pay Pal so that none of your personal information is out in the open for all to see.

Be Blessed this Christmas Season,

THis yarn was so popular that Crafts 2000 where I shop sold out by Dec. 20. I hope they restock. I bought two skeins, but wasn't sure I'd know what to do with them. I made scarves and think I might make more.

patocenizo (a regular here)
I have used another yarn called Flora and I am not happy with the results. I like what I see out of Starbella and will look for it. Thanks.

I have not had a problem finding this yarn. If you live in Phoenix, Family Arts on Missouri and 7th Street had a great selection last time I was there. Also in Pinetop AZ, the Yarn and More shop had some great colors. Hope this helps if you live in AZ.

Thanks for the names of the 2 AZ stores. New to Buckeye, and haven't found yarn shops yet.

I get this yarn directly from in turkey. shipping is only 7.99 from turkey to usa. Don't know if this way would be cheaper for you but worth research
