While looking at patterns, I found a pattern called Dragon Cowl, and since I have a niece who is into dragons, I decided it would be a good Christmas gift. I found some lace weight yarn in my stash that will match her eyes and started knitting. I love the gossamer look of the cowl. It seemed to look like shiny dragon scales. It was only when I was done and looked more closely at the pattern that I realized it was Dagon Cowl, NOT Dragon Cowl. lol The laugh is on me. But I still love the
cowl and it will make a great present. It is doubled here in the picture so it is hard to see but the pattern is lovely and it is so sheer. I think I will make myself one next year.
Beautiful! Your niece will love it, no matter the name of the pattern.
Clearly it is a beautifulk dragon cowl - and your niece will think so also ColleenMay.
Hey, those could be dragon scales, I’m sure of it. That’s really beautiful - good stroke of luck finding it!
The cowl is lovely and matching her eyes/her colors, she should love it. To push it closer to the dragon theme if you think that's good, find a dragon charm to add to the cowl (?).
Love the color and the pattern. Your niece is sure to love it.
It is lovely and delicate! I misread the name of a Berroco sock yarn color. I chose "Talt" thinking it was "Tait" ,which is my mother's maiden name!
A dragon charm? What a good idea!!! Thanks!!!
