I really do not need any more yarn. But today I was at my local Michael's and as I passed the yarn section there was an end section that had Caron Cakes. Several colors were on sale for $4 per skein. I am assuming those are discontinued colors. Well 2 skeins of Pumpkin Spice jumped into my cart and refused to go back on the shelf. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

For me it's chocolate, books and yarn. My trolley finds it's own way round the store

I know how that is. I have two closets full of yarn that showed up on its own.

A yarn diet? That's hilarious! If your diet is anything like mine, you'll be reneging on that soon. Lol! Be strong! You can do this!

At that price I don't think I would have done anything different. Enjoy.

Happened to me a month or so ago, only it was 8. My son's fault for wanting a ride to Michael's, so they're on his bill and are a gift/bribe in exchange for me driving him where he wants. Usually, I stay in the car; that time I entered the store.

It always begins just that way.

I am on a yarn diet until every bit of my new yarn is used completely, lest I wake up one morning, "Drunk, Divorced, and Covered in Cat Hair".
