I love it for GDs but it does not specify how much yarn is needed. I guess I'll wing it.

I'm new to knitting. Please let us know what type of yarn you used and how much is needed.

Thanks.

I printed off the pattern but am also wondering what type yarn to use. Bulky?

In the comment section for this pattern it is suggested by the designer of the pattern that you use either bulky, or super bulky yarn.

I really like this pattern. Its just what I was looking for. The only think I will change is to make it open with button holes. Thank you so much for sharing the link.

Thank you, thank you! I've got to have my ears covered, but I can't stand anything tight around my head or on my ears. This should do the trick.
