I am thinking about taking a class here in Portland Oregon from Lisa Silveira at Portland Sewing and wondered if anyone has heard of her or taken a class from her or ??? thanks!

I agree. I think taking her classes would be a fabulous opportunity and you should do it. I look forward to hear how you like it.

thanks! I have decided to take the series...kinda a big outlay but I made monies over Christmas selling my hats and etc. so will reinvest it in me!! Anyone else have serious problems spending on themselves like me? I'm sure many do...but I have decided that I am worth it and am going to do it. Thanks so much for the encouragement to go ahead...it helps lots! I am nervous about doing it though...will I do ok etc. silly stuff.

You GO girl!!! I am very fortunate that I live in an area that has a machine Knitting club that meets 1x month. I alwas come home excited to try something that has been brought in as a show and tell, or a member handout. It will keep you inspired!!!

There seems to be so much happening with knitting in Washington and Oregon compared to my neck of the woods. I really envy you guys!

Keep searching. My dil found out about this class otherwise I don't know that I would of known. I'd been wishing for a class but hadn't found any and then this showed up! yipee!!!!! :D :D :D
