Here are a couple of the dresses I have sewn. I sent 9 in a few months ago and have 6 ready now. I usually make enough to fill a flat rate box.
This fills my sewing need as I don’t have anyone to sew for any longer and it is a good charity.

Isn't that fun to make those little dresses? Our church had a project last summer to sew for the migrant workers at a local center, dresses for the girls and shorts for the boys. Because I have 6 granddaughters, I have lots of scraps. I started "stash busting". I made 42 dresses and 15 shorts before I stopped. Enjoyed every minute of it!

Several years ago my church participated in Dress a Girl Around the World and Little Dresses for Africa. They are called "pillowcase" dresses. I think we made 360. They are fun and easy to make. One of the hopes is that it will help keep the girls from getting stolen and ending up in human trafficking. For many girls this is the only dress they will own.

Thank you all so much. I’m glad I can do something to comfort where I can. They are as fun to make as they are to give. The little comfort dolll in the pocket is a good idea. Thanks. ????

What a wonderful thing to do! I have my hands full of charity projects but this is one worth considering. Your dresses are lovely and will surely bring smiles and be used for a long time. Bless your little heart......jberg
