Love it. I have not seen one of those row counters, must google is. My row counters are the type that slips on the end of the needle, or hangs from the circulars. Hey, but I love the look of this one.

Great idea. Mine is always falling off the arm of the chair, or worse... one of the grand daughters finds it and starts clicking away!

Hi Leonora

If you Google "row counter" several sites come up which sell them in the UK. I have the red one and the frog one, both of which I use. The frog one comes with a space at the top to insert a piece of elastic or cord, making it into a necklace. It hangs nicely around my neck, never to be lost, and is easy to access to click a row. I do look a bit silly when I forget it's there and go to bed wearing it !!

Get him to patent it, somebody to make them, someone to sell them, and then knit on your vacations!

How clever of him! My problem with row counters is I would forget to use the counter. Wearing it on your wrist one would be less likely to do this.

What a neat idea! I wear my row counter on a string around my neck, but I still can't remember whether I've actually dialed it up or not when I finish a row and am starting another one. LOL

I have a new counter and I have already misplaced it. Your DH is clever.

I went on line and found them. Then there was the electronic version that hangs around your neck. Nearly purchased it, price about $20, but the postage was over $23. Why?????
Went on ebay and purchased one that hangs around your neck for the same price but the postage was just over $3. So it will take longer to get to Australia, but I can wait. Actually, the price will be less because of the exchange rate at the moment.
Thank you for posting a picture and letting people see what is available. I have not seen anything like these available in the shops in Australia, at least not in Midland.

Funny, Hubby made this for me because after going to one LYS and craft store after another looking for one that hung around your neck came up empty . So he thought he'd surprise with the wrist one. I think I like it on my wrist too. I mean it's right there and if it were around my neck I could see me forgetting it was there.

Warning though, I had it on last night knitting an Angora Shawl and I was working from a pattern I had in my knitting folder on my laptop and I couldn't understand why my computer screen was blinking to a black screen and back to my page........then it dawned on me I had my magnetic wrist row counter on !
