Thank you! I live near Greenville, SC. Right now we have heard we will have tropical storm winds and a lot of rain here.
Conditions change daily. Prayers for those who live on our beautiful coast.

I hope they obey the evacuation orders, it's one scary hurricane. I pray those that stay are safe.

Our daughter and SIL live on Johns Island just over the bridge from Charleston. The shift of Florence to WNW will help them-are still expecting 3-5" of rain and winds. Thoughts are with all affected by this storm all along the eastern coast.

Praying for all that are going to be affected by this hurricane..... I was so hoping it would turn and go out to the ocean, but it doesn't look like it now.... these winds and rains can be so devastating ....

I don't pray but here are my thoughts:

After clearing everything from your yard and boarding your windows, if possible, pack your car with all important stuff: children, grandma, important photos, documents, food and water in case you get stuck in traffic, and your knitting. Get out of Dodge.

My daughter lives in Greenville. Spoke with her three hours ago, needles to say I have called her every day at least twice a day, she told me last call that they are not having any rain at the time, but she is worry about floods. I’m also praying for everyone specially for the residents at the coast.

Johns Island is beautiful. I used to live in the Charleston area, and Johns Island is beautiful, but it's out on the outside of the Intracoastal Waterway, so it's the first thing the storm will hit.

I wish them luck.
