John Dornan
Hi there, Well I am 2 days behind in reading the forum posts but will get there eventually. in the meantime i thought i had better post the latest finished items for you to see. we went out the other day to look at new recliner chairs as the ones we have are looking a bit shabby. needless to say we found 2 rocker recliners that we thought would fit the bill so ordered them and because they are to be upholstered in colours that we want they won't be delivered until next week sometime. so hence i had to make new arm covers which the pictures posted are showing.
have a great day. best regards, JOHN

Great color and covers. The remote holder is a really good idea. I'm forever dropping it off the arm of the chair. Mom just orderd a new chair in her choice of fabric... It is going to take 8 weeks.... Your wait is very reasonable.

Nice work John! I just got a couple of new rocker recliners for my Dad and he loves them. He had a maroon leather 3 piece suite which he and my mum bought about 20 years ago, but didn't want to part with the couch as it was still in good condition, so we managed to match up the chairs pretty well. In fact those chair covers would look perfect on them! Happy rocking (and reclining)! :)

Maybe you can post a pic of these pretty covers on your new chairs when you get the chairs. I am sure they will be lovely. My mother just got a new recliner - maybe I should do some of those for her.

Beautiful work yet again John. They are just what I need for my recliner, fortunately my recliner has deep poskets along the sides, but the arm covers I need to get round to doing at some point. I saw the design I wanted in crochet cotton thread just the other day on here, but the booklet was sold to someone who wanted all the booklets that were offered.
