So many beautiful shawls have been displayed on KF recently. I made this wrap for my daughter to wear on her wedding day. It is a free pattern called Dancing Cranes by Elann.com knitted in silken kydd yarn. Light as a feather. The pattern has a lovely story attached, saying that Cranes are ancient symbols of fidelity, luck, happiness, wisdom, and long life. And that they have been revered by many cultures for thousands of years. My daughter just loves it.

It is gorgeous, is it knitted from width or length maybe I'll get good enough to tackle it someday.
