Paper clip parrot - embroidery

This was in the craftgossip email today and I had to share.
I know I would never have the patience (or the ability now) to do something this intricate
This is an interesting site.

Because it is not knit/crochet, not sure if I should have put it in chit chat but it is still a link and I know some of you do embroidery too, it is - enjoy

Very creative use of paperclips. I cannot imagine covering them in those little bitty stitches.

I'm so glad you posted this. It's always inspiring to see someone else's handwork, no matter what the meduim. And besides, I am a bird nut!

I also do all types of embroidery..for as many years as knitting and crocheting...around 50ish years...
I can appreciate the tedious way she did this with paper clips..

Silk Ribbon and Crewel are my most favorite embroidery.
