I heartily agree too! It's the same here in the UK, thankfully my family have the sense to lead a simple life with what they can afford. I am guilty of buying far too much yarn because I can't resist it but I enjoy the cheaper ones, I love a bargain and the finished product looks just as good.
I am so glad you have a section for pets as they are my greatest interest especially dogs.
I have a gorgeous British Bulldog called Phillip who is training as my assistance dog, he has just passed his Level One assessment, 2 more to go!
I also have a galah cockatoo called Alfie who talks non stop!
Phil and Alfie
I remember doing that many years ago, it was great fun, love the scarf.
What a great idea! I am going to make one too!
Congratulations on those, you've got the knack!
That is so beautiful, I love it!
I have 23 year old non identical twin daughters and one of my other daughters had twin boys 14 years ago, sadly one died at 6 days old from an infection. As far as I'm aware twins didn't run in any of the families!
I'm new and enjoying looking through all your lovely pictures.
These are two recent projects, one knit, one crochet.
