Has anyone else ever done this project? I started this shortly after the pattern was issued by Yarnspirations (Long Weekend Cardigan). I dove in and bought the yarn at a good price (Lion Brand Pound of Love). Then I started reading comments about the errors in the pattern and considering that none appeared to have anything to do with the sleeves I did them first in the hopes that by the time I was done with them the errors would be published. No such luck so I set the whole project aside......for ages.......
I picked it up again months later and noted that corrections had been made BUT; people were still pointing out other problems so I did the back and set it aside again. At some point I had needed a mindless project to do and I started on the button band which was a blessing because I needs to be over 7 feet long! Fast forward to a few weeks ago and I tackled the two front pieces, pockets and I was done.......except for the seaming which I underestimated time wise. I was lucky enough to have the Craftsy video tutorial which provided me with some really good tips. The only thing I wish I had done was continue with more of the button band before attaching it because finishing it off with the bulky sweater in your lap is too cumbersome. Next time I would do about 80% of the band before attaching.
Although I knit a lot I rarely make anything for myself and this was my first time attaching a button band and pockets. I am finally going to be able to wear it this spring!!!

Two Pocket Poppets and a case full of clothes
Just finished these two little pocket poppets along with several outfits. Each outfit has matching shoes and hair ties. It took me awhile to complete everything as I had things that needed to be done in between. I enjoyed revisiting this pattern. As always it was a fun knit.
What to make to match?
I made this dress and have 3 balls of the multi colour Cotton blend ribbon and 1 of the solid cotton.
Iâm wondering what to make with these that would work with this dress for my
6 yr old granddaughter ?
color and stopped the roll
This yarn changed with each item I knit with it. Loved the results. Another thing, at the very bottom of sweater it wanted to roll. The sweater was knit with #5 needle and I went down to #3 needle. I also added extra rows ended up with 12 including the bind off. It lays very flat. In previous sweaters with this pattern I had trouble with it rolling up. This is one of Marianna Mels lazy daisy top down sweaters in size 0-3 months.
First recording you ever bought?
What was the first recording (and media) that you ever bought with your own money?
Mine was 45 rpm record - allowance - Uh-Oh I'm Falling in Love Again by Jimmie Rodgers (the pop star, not the country star)
He doesn't match but I figure who's going to see him when it's bedtime anyhoooo.
Cannot use the metal needles any more advised to use wooden or plastic . Any wooden ones i have bought they split at the ends or they
Bend in the middle
Anyone know where I could buy decent needles ?
