What machine is this?
Does anyone have any info on this machine. I can see it's a Brother but can't find a number. It's on sale for $120 but I don't want to pay that for it, will offer less and see what happens. I'd like to get it just for the fun of seeing if I can use it, or fix it up to use. Thanks.

How to “mark” center stitch on a shawl? Answer quickly, please
How do I mark the C stitch on a shawl with a spine WITHOUT having to move the marker every row? I’m hating this.

V-neck summer top
This is knitted from a pattern in Modern Machine Knitting August 1994 pattern #5. Yarn is Natural from Knitcraft, cotton/nylon. Knitted with tension 10 on standard gauge machine. This yarn does not knit very well, had to use lots of yarn spray, but the finished piece feels vey light and good. I always draw the shape from the schematic in DAK OPD, then knit with interactive knitting. This has a row of lace above the ribbing in transferring the ribber stitch not to the empty needle on main bed, but the needle that already has a stitch on. Then on front, back and sleeves there are a total of 6 needles out of work every 4th needle over the middle.

Smaller version of the Donut Doll
For those who have requested, here is a smaller version of the Donut Doll.

For head use 27 stitches instead of 37 stitches.
For donut piece use 14 stitches instead of 19 stitches.
For donut part knit 50 rows instead of64 rows.
This will work with either pattern.
Happy knitting!

hearts washcloth
I put two of my facecloths in the duster bin. They will be good for dusting furniture. Hahahaha!! At any rate, I replaced them with two hand knit ones. I posted the first one the other day and then there is this one. It has four hearts on it. My camera flash pretty much obliterates the hearts but you might get the idea. p.s. I don't enjoy dusting but I do try to keep up. I will post a picture of the pamphlet where I found this pattern.

I tried an experiment. I scanned the washcloth. teehee

Searching
Some time ago one of our members gave us a pattern for a lady's bolero. I downloaded the pattern and bought yarn but at that time I didn't have the time to do it. Now, some time later I would like to make it. However, guess what, I cannot find the pattern. If the member reads this or if other members have a copy I would be ever grateful to have a copy. Thank you all so much. Libra

Hope it's OK to post my Facebook shop's photos here
Hi there. Quite a few of you have asked to see photos of what I'm working on, especially since the Gadsden Arts Museum in Quincy, Florida, accepted my hand-knitted items and handmade cards to be sold on consignment in its shop.

I've read through all the rules about KP, and I can't find any rule that specifically pertains to this issue.

Anyway, I'll go ahead and post this. If there are _any_ rules that I may have missed pertaining to posting a link to one's Facebook page, _please_ be sure to let me know. Thank you!

The name of my FB online shop is Hazel's Born to Knit. Its website is

This information is also repeated in my sig line, which follows all my posts.
