It looks amazing and so beautifully knit. CongratulationsThis is the second summer poncho I've knitted for my 10 yo g-niece.
I used Bendigo Woollen Mills 100% Bamboo 4 ply yarn in 'Antarctica'.
I knitted it the same way as I did the previous one, by knitting two rectangles, then sewing them together: (end to side; other end to other side).
The finished measurements are: 15.5" x 27.5" blocked. (Prior to blocking it was 14" x 25").
The stitch pattern was selected by my g-niece, from a shawl by Zsuzsa Kiss, in Knit Now magazine, issue 67.
Each pattern repeat had 10 nupps in it, and I did 46 repeats (23 repeats each, front and back), a total of 460 nupps. I don't want to knit another nupp for a while.![]()
