really beautiful…..love the colors ….warm and rich….makes me feel cozy….what pattern are the square? Would be a great summer project if done in small pieces and assemble done in the fall.

The pattern was pretty straight forward. This however, it is the perfect example of a knit pattern that should have been crochet. I did not enjoy knitting this at all, however I do think it would make a fabulous crochet project if you wanted to convert the pattern. I have no idea how to do that but it seems like something that could be done.

The yarn is called cabaret by style craft. It’s DK and has a tiny metallic thread running through it. i did get it out of my stash when I made this so it’s a few years old I think.

There is a pattern very similar also named "Fan shawl" by Durable yarn that is crochet and another called "Lace fan shawl" by Yarnspirations. I should have looked on Ravelry first instead of asking questions, silly me!
