This is so adorable. I can visualize gift wrapping a knitted item and then using a piece of the leftover yarn to make a pom pom on the outside of the package. Neat!

That looks great. I bought a book on making things with pompoms (I had hurt my elbow and could neither knit nor crochet) and they will be just right.
I googled it to make sure I could find it again and found another web site with teeny tiny angry birds :roll:

Terrific idea.Thanks.My Grandfather who crochet and knitted
would make tiny pompoms using tiny leather washers.They were so delicate.I could never make them as nice as he did.
