Good morning chicks from another grey haired old lady. So far I am too busy to have to think about that. Grey is fine...gad zooks...I am 67 after all. Do not want to look like I am 38. Besides I am having way too much fun. OSG I bet you look fantastic with your white. I wish mine woiuld go white...but it is different shades of grey. Ok, Chicks, off to a Fiber Guild meeting. Have a great day.

Bonnie love those mitts. Have to try those after christmas.

Glad to know I'm not the only grey/white lady in this group. Mine is white mostly with dark at the neckline.

Good morning ladies... It rained so hard and loud (thunder) I didn't sleep well. But today is the Silver Sneakers party so I have to leave in a few to go help set up. A nap is in my near future.

My hair started turning white when I was about 18... So not coloring wasn't an option. I keep saying when I turn 60 I will let it be white (life will be so much easier) but I may chicken out. I just look awful without color on my hair.

I appreciate the kind comments on my photos/gifts. Still so much more to do. The cowl I started for Audrey is looking fine so far. I am making it up as I go but don't have time to re-do so I'm relieve it's working out okay so far.

OSG, I wish I could hire someone to make more of those mitts for me! I know all of our "boys" will want a pair, including Daddy...

Later, Chicks~

Has anyone heard from Tania? I have made this Button Slouch Hat for Micheaux and she has the same head size as her little girl. But this one looks so big and I even used a smaller needle. Instead of 8 and 10 I used a 7 and a 8. Gosh it looks so big. Ah, well, start the cowl.

Oh, Barb I chatted with the lady teaching the spinning. She is going to start me on a drop spindle just so I can see how the yarn goes. She said the spinning wheel moves so fast it might have a tendency to pull the yarn from my fingers. Anyway after New Years. :-D

That's how I started, then you will learn the wheel. I'm hoping the new classes will be posted for Webs and spinning wheel will be one of them! If so, I"m in.

I can't wait. Today nothing got accomplished. So tomorrow I have to get busy and make that handbag and start the last cowl. Then just two more bags to make. I do this everyyear. Maybe next year I will not do this and take the year off....Want to bet?

Me too... sigh. We Who Were Not Going To Do Gifts this year have gone astray. I keep thinking of things I could make for so little money that would be nice and welcomed... and the list grows longer. Today my boss gave me a nice little Christmas gift which I did not expect, so now what to give her? I really do love and appreciate her. Maybe one of my scarves?

Bitsey, if it helps, I am sending hats to my daughters two nieces in England, and the four year old's head is about 19.5" around.

Thanks, Ihad her head measurments. And I followed the pattern according to that size...I think it is just the style of the hat that I am not sure of.

Maybe I will start in March!!

Okay, here goes!! Bonnie your knitting and pillow cases are just great. I have always wanted to do fingersess gloves. Maybe I will try it when I get caught up. Tommi, seems like there are a lot of us who are happy with our grey hair. I am very happy, and didn't even know the biblical mention. OSG, I am glad you are on the mend. I don't ever have migraines, but some headaches are just awful. Don't laugh, but I heard that rubbing the skin of a lemon on forehead it gets better. Like I said I can't say I KNOW it works, so try it and make lemonade with the rest. (giggle)
I guess I forget the rest but hello to everyone, hope everyone is all done wrapping.
My swap finally went into the mail box today. If I ever said before I just wanted to mail, but today it is gone. Should arrive Wednesday. Can't wait for the grand opening day.
