Here I am in all my grey glory. This is the new church directory photo. I hate to feel any pride in my own pic, but I don't think I look 81. Hee-hee!!

Val, how wonderful that you loved your swap box! I know who sent it so I know it had to be good!! I mailed mine off today too. Hope she gets it soon.

Alberta I love the new photo. You are so beautiful and photogenic, and NO you certainly don't look 81!

Bits I'm in the cowl club too. That's what I'm knitting tonight. I only started it yesterday and I'm half done, so this super bulky stuff was definitely the way to go! I cast on about 70 (at 2 sts per inch) and work a 2x2 ribbing for as long as I want it. I'm thinking it will need to be about 14" tall? Will try it as I go and see. I will put a couple of buttons on one end, midway and below that, and the sts are big enough that buttonholes aren't needed. I plan to have her button it and turn down the tall top to form a nice rolled collar. I can't wait to see it done! Then I have a hat to make, to match. Better get back to it!

Oh... we went out and found our tree tonight! It's in the living room, untrimmed for now. The house is smelling wonderful because of it.

Bonnie, the smell of the tree is so fresh and makes the house definitly in the spirit. Take pictures as it goes to its finest beauty. I don't have a tree so have enjoyed sharing all of my CWS friends trees. Thanks for the compliments on my picture. A copy will be given to ALL my children. Even my daughter who I haven't laid eyes on in nearly 7 years. Don't want her to forget.......

Hi all

Alberta, WOW!!! You are gorgeous!!!

Back from the banquet.... So tired tonite... Long day and nite full of events...& I have to sit thru boring prof dev tomorrow, I think?... Not sure as I didn't get a memo confirming...so who knows...

But the good news is, I get to cast on a new project:)

I love casting on new projects, don't you?

My problem is, my computer is still down, so I am having to email my patterns to my phone... Which is running my battery down, and I can't seem to keep up with my chargers with two teen drivers, lol....

Every time I get into a vehicle, the charger is in the other, which is off with a teen somewhere out and about!

And technology was supposed to make life easier...

Where IS city? The new move and job must be keeping her very busy...

Hi Gang... Just got back from having dinner with OSG! We met up at JoAnn's for some shopping and then went to dinner together. It was some fun 'girl time'... She brought me some AMAZING handmade toffee that someone she knows makes. Luke and I are munching on it right now. Thank you, OSG! It's heavenly...

How fun to be able to meet up with one CWS, at least...
