Would like to try knitting in lace but not able to find the lace. Any suggestions as to where I might find it. Thanks

This is an index to lots of lace patterns alphabetically.
Gives stitch count and pictures of stitch.

Good luck.

The knitting-in-lace that you want is primarily found in the United Kingdom where I live. But you can get it on ebay too, again the UK site might be the best place to find it. Good luck.

I buy mine from
World of Lace. They are in Australia, but have a large variety of knit in lace.

This is a site I have spent many qualities hours on. Much of the trim on my curtains are from this site.

How does one use "knit in lace"

I think the phrase is being misunderstood.
Is it supposed to be knitting lace?
Is it knitting WITH lace?

The answers I have seen seem to indicate it means knitting lace. That is, taking very fine lace yarn and making a lace something.

I think it needs to be clarified.

I use knitting in lace when making cribs for `Angels`
Another name for it is eyelet lace.

This is what I use.
You basically knit it along with the stitches, one hole to one stitch, remembering to keep the lace on the right side of your work not the wrong side.

You would probably be able to buy it on ebay.
